Each level of ACT clutch has its purpose, and Celtic Motorsport can recommend an ACT package for your 06-09 Subaru WRX based on the level of modification and purpose of the car. All ACT clutch kits for the 06-09 WRX include a friction surface, a pressure plate, a throw-out bearing, and a alignment tool.

MM: Modified Street Disc 420 ft/lbs torque ACT's Modified Street friction surface is SFI certified and is an excellent choice for lightly modified, street driven cars. The MM disc provides quicker engagement than a stock surface and is quiet compared to other, more aggressive, friction surfaces. The sprung hub uses bushings and cone springs similar to OEM clutch disc; this creates frictional dampening which improves clutch life and reduces noise. | | |

G6: 6-Puck Sprung Race Disc 537 ft/lbs torque The ACT 6-Puck Sprung Hub Race Disc is SFI certified, so it is legal for all forms of racing that require SFI compliance. An ACT G6 race disc has a very durable friction surface with good spline life. The G6 was designed for a highly modified car that is drive to, on and from the track, as long as harsher engagement is acceptable. The sprung hub helps to reduce driveline shock and be relatively quiet compared to an unsprung hub, though the G6 can still be noisier than a full face disc and will have some chatter. | | |

G4: 4-Puck Sprung Race Disc 537 ft/lbs torque An ACT 4-Puck Sprung Hub Race Disc has very harsh engagement and is designed for road race cars only. A G4 friction surface has good durability and spline life characteristics under normal use. The sprung hub helps to reduce driveline shock and be relatively quiet compared to an unsprung hub but will definitely have chatter. R6: 6-Puck Solid Race Disc 537 ft/lbs torque The reduced inertia of the ACT 6-Puck Solid hub allows for very fast shifts at the expense drivability. An ACT R6 race disc friction surface has very good durability but will have shortened spline life. ACT designed the R6 for a highly modified track cars where harsher engagement is expected and some clutch chatter is not a problem. The 6-puck layout of the R6 will absorb, and dissipate, more heat than a 4-puck unit. The ACT 6-Puck Solid Hub Race Disc is legal for all forms of racing that require SFI compliance. R4: 4-Puck Solid Race Disc 537 ft/lbs torque The ACT 4-Puck Solid Hub Race Disc is legal for all forms of racing that require SFI compliance. The biggest benefit of the ACT 4-Puck Solid Hub Race Disc is its extremely fast shifts thanks, in part, to its reduced inertia. An ACT R4 race disc friction surface has good durability but will have shortened spline life. ACT designed the R4 for a heavily modified drag race or road race cars where extremely harsh engagement and clutch chatter is expected. DOMESTIC SHIPPING
We ship packages worldwide with a variety of carriers. When purchasing products through the website, the shopping cart will automatically calculate shipping with UPS and FedEx. If you would like to use USPS as a shipping option please contact us and your order can be modified to reflect the changes. On large items the calculations may not be accurate. If this is the case you will be contacted about your order to discuss shipping options. All orders are sent with insurance and are shipped with signature required. This protects you from your packages getting stolen or lost. If you are not at home to sign for your package you may have your order shipped to a work or alternative address which can be done when the order is being placed. Celtic Motorsport insures all orders to protect you. Every order is packed with the utmost care to prevent damage to your order. In the event your shipment is damaged, you will need to contact us immediately upon receiving your order so that a claim process may be started. The claim may possibly be started by you the consumer but in most cases we will handle the claims.
